Laila Murgo

Laila is from Brooklyn, New York and is a student in the Health Professions Mentorship Program at the University of Miami, studying Biology on the Pre-Med track. She is currently in the process of getting her medical assistant certification! Laila has worked at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, where she gained clinical experience in the emergency department and other areas of the hospital. She enjoys mathematics and helping students make challenging concepts easier to understand. In her free time, she loves crafting, going to dinner with friends, spending time at the beach, and swimming.
