Joseph Mooney

Academic Tutor

Joseph is originally from Danbury, Connecticut, and holds a BS in Physiology & Neurobiology and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut. He is currently pursuing an MS in Neural Engineering at the University of Miami. Joseph has four years of tutoring experience with students from middle school through the university level, in subjects spanning math, biology, physics, statistics, neuroscience, and SAT prep. He works to build a strong command of fundamentals, giving students the confidence to approach complex and unfamiliar problems. In his free time, he enjoys cooking new dishes and playing golf, tennis, and the occasional game of chess.
